I said me first, dammit!

Bibi: I said me first, dammit! I'm the fuckin' female!
Shani: You're a pain in the ass!

Grown-up version of a previous drawing of mine. Bibi and Shani are twins, and they don't seem to get along. Maybe they hunted together and Shani was about to dig in the kill, but as the actual hyena society wants, very often females eat first.
While drawing them, I've thought about their personalities: Shani is outwardly babyish and mischievous, but deep inside he has a huge good heart. Bibi is often arrogant, suspicious and aggressive, but in reality she's very insecure.
They remind me of myself and my brother Giuseppe. We have less than a year of difference --he's older-- so we grew up almost like twins. Though today we're not very close, I could never forget that he's been my very first childhood friend.
